YOUR VOTE CAN HELP OKC ZOO WIN A PUMPING ROOM MAKEOVER

The Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden is seeking the public’s support and votes to win Aeroflow Breastpumps Second Annual Pumping Room Makeover. The OKC Zoo is one of five national contest finalists, and we need your votes to win! The contest will provide one grand prize winner with a pumping room makeover at their location, bringing awareness to the importance of providing safe, comfortable nursing and pumping rooms for mothers. Public voting is open through Tuesday, October 1, 2019, and OKC Zoo fans have the opportunity to vote daily at aeroflowbreastpumps.com/pumping-room. One vote per person every 24 hours.

Aeroflow Breastpumps asked contest participants for descriptions and photos of the existing or potential nursing and pumping room they were nominating for a makeover. The OKC Zoo’s Manager of Guest Experiences, LeAnna Holman, nominated the Zoo’s current nursing space located in the entry plaza for consideration. As a mother of two, Holman understands the challenges moms face when venturing out with the family and strives to make the Zoo a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.  “A visit to the OKC Zoo is an immersive experience and every detail is so important and can create a lasting impression,” said Holman. “I am excited to imagine the possibilities of a new nursing and pumping room that will be used by thousands of visiting moms as well as many Zoo team members.”

In addition to the grand prize, all finalists will receive a gift basket with breastfeeding supplies and accessories. For more information on the contest and additional resources on pumping rooms and back-to-work plans for breastfeeding moms, please visit AeroflowBreastpumps.com.
