  • Safari Soirée

    May 20th, 2017
    7:00pm - 11:00pm
    Zoo Park

Come and experience an evening of fabulous food, exotic drinks and wild entertainment at the Oklahoma Zoological Society’s debut event, Safari Soirée!

Safari Soirée is a unique event where guests will have the opportunity to experience the zoo (yes, the entire zoo!), a sea lion presentation, giraffe feeding, stingrays, lorikeets and informational conservation stations. Guests may also purchase VIP behind-the-scenes adventures where they will interact with keepers and receive an up-close and personal experience with wildlife.

The Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden is very proud of its role in bringing the joy and wonder of the animal and plant kingdoms to the Oklahoma City community. The Zoo wants to recognize and celebrate the community’s role in supporting the conservation of animals and plants in Oklahoma and around the world.

With the citizens of our great community, in the last year alone, the Zoo supported field conservation programs in 12 countries on four continents. From working to increase habitat for monarchs and other pollinators to purchasing and protecting rainforest in Sumatra for endangered elephants, tigers, and orangutans, the Zoo is making a significant impact.

The Zoo connects our community with animals on a personal level, and then asks our community to care, not just about the animals at the zoo, but also about their species in the wild and the habitats that support them. Connecting and caring leads to conserving.

This event is for engaging adults 21-and-over.

Due to the popularity and limited availability of the behind-the scenes experiences, tickets may now be purchased by phone at 405-425-0618 or in the ZOOfriends membership office.
