OKC ZOO HOSTS SPRING/SUMMER HIRING EVENTS

Put your love for wildlife and wild places to work at the OKC Zoo! The Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden is hosting hiring events on Tuesday, February 6 and Thursday, February 8 from 3:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. for job seekers interested in part-time positions for the 2018 season. The Zoo is looking for bright smiles, friendly personalities and a commitment to excellence.
The hiring events will be at the Zoo’s Rosser Conservation Education Center, east end of the parking lot, 2000 Remington Place, Oklahoma City. Zoo representatives will be on site to provide employment information and conduct screening interviews.
The Zoo is looking for quality candidates, who are energetic, dependable, customer-service oriented, professional and dedicated to making a difference to fulfill the following positions:
Guest Experience Guide: Are you a people person? Engage with guests as a driving guide and provide excellent guest service through friendliness, enthusiasm and a positive attitude. Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
Guest Experience Attendant: The Guest Experience team enhances the Zoo guest experience by answering questions and being knowledgeable of the Zoo and its animals, experiences, programs and more. Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
All part-time jobs require weekend, evening and holiday availability, and the ability to work outside. Starting pay is $9 per hour. The Zoo offers employee training and an ideal working environment.
