OKC ZOO IS NOW HIRING AMBASSADORS FOR SPRING/SUMMER 2019
January 14, 2019
The Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden is now hiring part-time Brand Ambassadors for Spring and Summer 2019! Brand Ambassadors perform a variety of skilled tasks throughout the Zoo: ticket sales, entry/exit greeters, supervising rides, as well as overseeing guest encounters with wildlife.
Brand Ambassadors are representatives of the Zoo’s promise to connect guests with wildlife and wild places in meaningful ways. Brand Ambassadors have an immense influence on how the OKC Zoo is experienced and remembered by more than a million annual visitors. All part-time jobs require weekend, evening and holiday availability, and the ability to work outside. Starting pay is $9 per hour. The Zoo offers employee training and an ideal working environment.
To apply, complete the job application posted online at okczoo.org/brand-ambassador and submit the completed document via e-mail to email@example.com by Thursday, January 31. Applications also available at the Zoo’s Guest Services office, open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Select candidates will be contacted for in-person interviews on Saturday, February 2, or Saturday, February 9. All selected candidates are subject to a drug screen and background check. The Zoo has a Smoke-Free Environment, is a Drug-Free Workplace, and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Located at the crossroads of I-44 and I-35, the OKC Zoo is a proud member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, the American Alliance of Museums, Oklahoma City’s Adventure District and an Adventure Road partner. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Regular admission is $11 for adults and $8 for children ages 3-11 and seniors ages 65 and over. Children two and under are admitted free.
