The Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden, in partnership with Oklahoma City Convention and Visitors Bureau and News 9, launches a unique spring break promotion, providing participants with an amazing holiday staycation that is only a drive away.
With the OKC Zoo’s Spring Break Staycation promotion, families from Oklahoma and surrounding states are invited to stay and play in the heart of Oklahoma City then explore the OKC Zoo by checking into one of 38 participating Oklahoma City hotels. Registered guests spending at least one night in a participating hotel from Friday, March 12 through Sunday, March 21, 2021, will receive a voucher good for 50% off of general admission to the OKC Zoo for up to four people for the same time period. At the OKC Zoo, connect with family and friends while enjoying the outdoors and discovering the world’s wildlife plus, unique Zoo attractions and experiences such as Wild Encounters behind-the-scenes opportunities, animal feedings, sea lion presentation, Stingray Bay and more.
“It’s wonderful to be able to celebrate spring break this year and share this exciting promotion with Oklahomans and tourists from neighboring states, inviting them to rediscover all the Zoo and our great city have to offer,” said Dwight Lawson, OKC Zoo’s executive director and CEO. “We look forward to welcoming everyone to the park and providing them with a safe, unforgettable experience.”
“Whether you live in the metro area or a few hours away, we’re ready to safely welcome families to Oklahoma City for spring break,” said Zac Craig, Oklahoma City Convention and Visitors Bureau President. “Our hotel and attraction partners across the city make it easy to find fun, memorable ways to enjoy time together.”
Spring Break Staycation vouchers for the OKC Zoo will be distributed upon check-in at participating hotels. Limit of one voucher per room. Multiple nights do not equal multiple vouchers. Advance Zoo ticket reservations are not required for this promotion. Participants will redeem vouchers at the Zoo’s ticket window. For a list of participating hotels, visit okczoo.org/springbreak.
