Prepares daily menu items within specifications for recipe conformity, portion control and nutritional guidelines. Tests cooked food by tasting and smelling to ensure palatability and flavor conformity. Works the front line, engages with customers and staff and provides information as requested about nutritional content, ingredients, preparation techniques etc. Maintains sanitation and cleanliness standards in compliance with local and state health codes. Job requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis. Assist with food prep, clean-up, dishwashing, and floor cleaning as needed before and after serving times.
